In a festival held at Al-Rasheed Hotel in Baghdad, the American Ambassador in Iraq handed over to the Iraqi Minister of Youth and Sport the Shield of the American Sport Academy to the Iraqi Football Team as the best international team of 2007.

Rayan Crocker, the Ambassador, expressed his high admiration of the Iraqi team and its determination to face difficulties facing the Team before participation in the championship. He wished the Team achieving the Iraqi mass dream by rehabilitation for the next year cup.

Meanwhile, Jassim Mohammed Jaffar, the Minister expressed happiness for receiving the prize confirming what happened in the championship would stay in mind ever.

Iraqi Team is the first Arab team wins the American Sport Academy surpassing many advanced international clubs and teams.
