Eye/ The first civilian airplane has been landed at Al-Najaf international airport, on the date of the November/ 16 the current, according to news reported by a statement for the US army.

The statement mentioned that the airplane (Bombardier) which is Canadian, is the first to be landed at Al-Najaf international airport since the openness at past July.

As these airplanes regarded as part of the ministry of communications initiative to replace the airplanes fleet of 727 type which are being lunched from Baghdad.

The statement added that, passengers onboard the plane have been received by the local media mass and governmental officials, and the airplane has took off at 2:00pm to Arbeel with more than 90 passenger onboard.
